The threads in question

Two knocks on the door.

A modest request for funding, then a politer one. Both open, both read.

GIP-0090: Community Allocation of 0.1% of issuance to The Night's Watch23 Sep 20260000checking

Signs of life

They are fine, we think.

Before anyone rings round the hospitals: the Foundation is posting on the same forum, about other things. Someone is moving about inside. They just haven't come to the door. The readout above shows the latest.

What the neighbours have done

Every reasonable step, in order.

  1. Posted a map of community work against the Catalyst roadmap, offering it to the Foundation rather than asking for anything. No replies.

  2. Asked for 0.1% of issuance, roughly 8,000 USD a year, to keep the support and the tooling running. One community member said the ask seemed reasonable. Nothing from the Foundation.

  3. Stood the services down, since they were running on a private card. Carried on answering support questions anyway.

  4. Asked again, for less: 500 USD a month, as a retroactive grant, with a poll so the community could say for itself. Listed everything already built.

  5. Put the kettle on. Made this page. Still listening.

What this page is

A counter, kept honestly.

It is

  • A live read of two public forum threads, nothing more.
  • Stopped the moment anyone at the Foundation replies in either one, and this page will say so the same day.
  • Made by AxiomaticAardvark, who wrote both threads.

It is not

  • A claim that nobody at the Foundation has ever been kind. Several of them have, in public, and it was appreciated.
  • About any one person. It is about a forum and a reply.
  • Going anywhere until there is one.
